'Tricks' at Lighthouse Cinema Dublin

Good news for all of you who missed our screenings of Tricks in Cineworld earlier in the month. Beginning this Friday 23rd May you can catch it in the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield. A stunning new venue, the Lighthouse is the perfect place to see this enchanting, poetic gem, for the last time in Dublin.
Redolent of the early films of Milos Forman and Jiri Menzel and with compelling performances by non-professional actors, Tricks has a warm but poignant authenticity. Director Andrzej Jakomiski's unique take on working class life in an otherwise drab mining town is shaped with the aid of Adam Bajerski's gorgeous, dappled gold lensing and Tomasz Gassowski's alternately jazzy and melancholy score.
